Our story

Salt & Whisk started with a simple idea: to offer delicious gluten and dairy-free bakes to local customers ahead of Christmas 2025, knowing that many people struggle with providing food for those with allergies or dietary restrictions.

Never expecting it to grow beyond the festive season, I was amazed by the response and decided to continue after Christmas, introducing a nationwide delivery service. Since then, we have been going strong with very busy weeks, and have added many exciting new products.

Having navigated eliminating gluten from my diet in May 2025 due to an intolerance, I had a strong base of recipes I had tried out and enjoyed, having struggled to find gluten-free options in supermarkets that matched the taste and texture I enjoyed.

Now, I'm delighted to share those bakes with others who understand the challenges of intolerances and allergies — proving that free-from treats can still be every bit as delicious.
